It teaches that pilgrimage (tīrtha-yātrā), sacred bathing (snāna), and devotional worship (darśana and stuti) performed with śraddhā can yield immense puṇya—symbolically equated here with the merit of a koṭi of yajñas.
Bhakti is expressed through reverent darśana (beholding the deity) and stuti (praise), and the verse emphasizes inner faith (śraddhā) as the key that makes the act spiritually efficacious, not merely the external ritual.
Ritual practice is foregrounded: tīrtha-snānā (rules of sacred bathing) and stotra/arcana-oriented worship. While not a technical Vedāṅga lesson, it reflects Kalpa-style guidance on pilgrimage rites and the doctrine of yajña-phala (ritual merit).
