Narada (as narrator/teacher within the Narada Purana’s Uttara-Bhaga discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches temple-dharma: entering Viṣṇu’s shrine with reverence, performing three clockwise pradakṣiṇās, and completing worship with heartfelt bhakti to receive prasāda (divine grace).
Bhakti is shown as embodied devotion—physical reverence (pradakṣiṇā) joined with inner surrender (pūjā done “bhaktyā”), culminating in “prasādayet,” seeking the Lord’s compassionate favor rather than mere ritual merit.
Ritual procedure (kalpa/ācāra) is implied: proper temple entry, prescribed number of pradakṣiṇās, and orderly arcana (pūjā-vidhi), reflecting applied dharma rather than grammar or astrology.
