FAQs

It magnifies the fruit of Sandhyā-upāsanā by equating it to a long-term (twelve-year) discipline, and it links that merit to a specific tirtha-marker called “Yoni-dvāra,” emphasizing place-based sanctity (tīrtha-māhātmya).

By praising faithful daily worship (upāsanā) and its accelerated spiritual fruit, it encourages steady devotional discipline—where sincerity and right observance can yield results comparable to prolonged practice.

Ritual procedure and timing are implied through Sandhyā (twilight rite), aligning with Kalpa (ritual practice) and Jyotiṣa (proper ritual times), even though the verse itself focuses on the declared fruit and the tirtha-location.
