It states that piṇḍa-pradāna (Śrāddha offering) can bring completion and benefit to ancestors, even if they bear the karmic effects of sin, emphasizing Pitṛ-dharma as a powerful remedial rite.
Bhakti is expressed here as reverent service to dharma—honoring the pitṛs through prescribed offerings—reflecting devotion through duty, gratitude, and faith in sacred rites connected to tīrthas and divine order.
It highlights Kalpa (ritual procedure) through the act of piṇḍa-dāna/Śrāddha, showing how correctly performed rites are taught as practical means to address ancestral well-being and karmic consequences.
