bhramaṃtyā darśanaṃ loke durlabhaṃ pāpakarmaṇām | durgāyā rathayātrāsti tathaivātrāpi kārayet || 59 ||
लोकात भ्रमण करणाऱ्या देवीचे दर्शन पापकर्म करणाऱ्यांना दुर्लभ असते। दुर्गेची रथयात्रा आहे; म्हणून येथेही तशीच रथयात्रा करावी।
Narada (within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: Ratha-yātrā (Durgā)
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"karuna","emotional_journey":"A warning-laden compassion: sinners are deprived of moving darśana; the verse turns to hopeful remedy through instituting Durgā’s ratha-yātrā."}
It links moral purity to spiritual access: sinful conduct obstructs divine darśana, while a public rite like Durgā’s ratha-yātrā becomes a communal means to invite the Goddess’s presence and restore dharmic order.
Bhakti here is expressed through darśana and seva in a visible, collective form—organizing and participating in the Goddess’s procession—while emphasizing that devotion must be supported by ethical living (avoidance of pāpa).
Ritual application and calendrical planning are implied: arranging a ratha-yātrā requires correct timing and procedural order (kalpa-oriented ritual discipline, often supported by jyotiṣa for auspicious scheduling).
