मग त्याने खड्गमार्गावर अनेक रेषांनी युक्त अशी जाड धनुर्ज्या दाखविली—पितृभक्तियुक्त आणि त्याहून अधिक मातृभक्तीने परिपूर्ण।
Narada (as narrator/teacher in the Uttara-Bhaga dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It frames devotion (bhakti) not only as worship but as lived dharma—especially reverence to father and mother—presented as a defining inner quality of the person being described.
By emphasizing pitṛ-bhakti and even greater mātṛ-bhakti, it implies that sincere devotion is proven through humility, gratitude, and service to one’s parents—an applied form of bhakti aligned with Purāṇic ethics.
The verse mainly highlights dharmic conduct rather than a specific Vedāṅga; practically, it teaches nīti/dharma—how right conduct (service to parents) becomes a measurable marker of spiritual maturity.
