यद्यप्यदेयं मम जीवितं हि याचिष्यते चेद्यदि हेमवर्णा । दास्यामि चेदं न विचारयिष्ये पुत्रं विना नास्ति नदेयमस्याः ॥ ३६ ॥

yadyapyadeyaṃ mama jīvitaṃ hi yāciṣyate cedyadi hemavarṇā | dāsyāmi cedaṃ na vicārayiṣye putraṃ vinā nāsti nadeyamasyāḥ || 36 ||

माझे जीवनही जरी अदेय असले, तरी ती हेमवर्णा जर ते मागेल, तर तेही मी देईन; मी विचार करणार नाही। तिच्या पुत्रावाचून तिच्यासाठी अदेय असे काहीच नाही॥ ३६ ॥
