The Vision of Mohinī (मोहिनी-दर्शनम्)
तत्कृतं भवता राजन्पुनरभ्येत्य मंदिरम् । अशून्यशयनं पुण्यं गृहे वृद्धिकरं परम् ॥ ९ ॥
tatkṛtaṃ bhavatā rājanpunarabhyetya maṃdiram | aśūnyaśayanaṃ puṇyaṃ gṛhe vṛddhikaraṃ param || 9 ||
हे राजन्, ते करून पुन्हा आपल्या घरी परत या। दांपत्य-शय्या रिकामी न ठेवणे पुण्य असून घरात परम वाढ-समृद्धी देणारे आहे।
Narrator/teacher voice addressing the King (rājan) within Uttara-Bhaga’s dharma-mahatmya discourse
Vrata: none (refers back to a previously described vrata)
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"Moves from completion of a rite to calm household instruction, emphasizing auspicious domestic continuity and prosperity."}
It frames household continuity as a dharmic merit (puṇya): after completing a religious duty, one should return to home and sustain gṛhastha responsibilities that support stability and prosperity.
Indirectly: it places devotion within lived dharma—after sacred acts, a devotee does not abandon worldly duties but sanctifies home life through righteous conduct that supports family and social order.
Ritual-practice orientation rather than a specific Vedāṅga: it emphasizes dharmic injunction-style guidance (vidhi) for gṛhastha conduct, often paired in Purāṇas with vrata/pilgrimage observances and their proper completion.
