The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala

शालीचणकमुद्गैश्च यवमाषैश्च होमतः । माहिषाज्यप्लुतैस्ताभिस्तिथिभिः समवाप्नुयात् ॥ १८२ ॥

śālīcaṇakamudgaiśca yavamāṣaiśca homataḥ | māhiṣājyaplutaistābhistithibhiḥ samavāpnuyāt || 182 ||

तांदूळ, हरभरा, मूग, जव आणि माष (उडीद) यांनी होम करावा; आणि प्रत्येक आहुती महिषीच्या तुपाने (माहिषाज्याने) ओलसर करावी. असे केल्याने त्या त्या तिथींनुसार सांगितलेले फळ मिळते.
