The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
शत्रोर्नक्षत्रवृक्षाग्नौ तत्समिद्धिस्तु होमतः । सर्षपाज्यप्लुताभिस्ते प्रणमंत्येव पादयोः ॥ १७२ ॥
śatrornakṣatravṛkṣāgnau tatsamiddhistu homataḥ | sarṣapājyaplutābhiste praṇamaṃtyeva pādayoḥ || 172 ||
शत्रूच्या नक्षत्र-वृक्षाच्या समिधांनी पेटवलेल्या अग्नीत, त्याच समिधांनी होम करावा. मोहरी व तुपाने भिजवलेल्या आहुतींनी ते (विरोधक) निश्चितच पायांशी नम्र होतात.
