शून्ययुग्मं चरयुतं ततः पूर्वमतः परम् । शून्ययुग्मं च गोत्रा स्याद्वाहयुक्तांबुना चरः ॥ ६३ ॥
śūnyayugmaṃ carayutaṃ tataḥ pūrvamataḥ param | śūnyayugmaṃ ca gotrā syādvāhayuktāṃbunā caraḥ || 63 ||
शून्याची जोडी घेऊन त्यात ‘चर’ने दर्शविलेली संख्या जोडा; मग त्यातून क्रमाने पूर्व व पर घ्या. शून्य-युग्माला ‘गोत्र’ म्हणतात; आणि ‘चर’ ‘वाह’ व ‘अंबु’ यांच्याशी युक्त होऊन अभिप्रेत मूल्य देतो।
