स्थिरा भूसहिता गोत्रा सदाहोऽग्निरसः स्थिरा । नभश्च मरुता युक्तं रसवर्णसमन्वितम् ॥ ५४ ॥
sthirā bhūsahitā gotrā sadāho'gnirasaḥ sthirā | nabhaśca marutā yuktaṃ rasavarṇasamanvitam || 54 ||
पृथ्वी स्थिर व सघन असून गोत्रधारिणी आहे। अग्नी सदैव दाहक असून रस हे त्याचे स्वभावलक्षण आहे। आकाशही वायूसह संयुक्त होऊन रस व वर्ण यांनी युक्त होते।
