aṣṭamaṃ navamaṃ cāpi pūrvaṃ syādaṃtimaṃ punaḥ | dvayamekaikamatha ca dvayadvayamatha dvayam || 112 ||
आठवे व नववे प्रथम ठेवावेत, आणि पुन्हा त्यानंतर अंतिम येतो. मग दोन एकत्र, मग एकेक करून; पुढे जोड्यांच्या जोड्या, आणि शेवटी पुन्हा एक जोडा ठेवावा.
