Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It presents devotion (bhakti) combined with disciplined mantra-japa as a complete sādhana, emphasizing that focused worship of Devī yields tangible fruition (phala) and authority, reflecting the Purāṇic link between inner power and outer order.
Bhakti is the foundation—Devī is worshipped “with devotion,” and the japa is performed attentively (ekaikaśaḥ), showing that sincere reverence plus careful practice is the devotional method endorsed here.
It highlights mantra-prayoga (practical application of mantra) and japa-vidhi (method of recitation), especially the instruction to recite in measured units (ekaikaśaḥ), aligning with technical ritual discipline associated with Vedāṅga-oriented practice.
