तेव्हा महातेजस्वी विष्णूंनी महेशास असे म्हटले—ज्याला सर्वजण नमस्कार करतात, तोच सर्वांकडून पूजिला जातो॥
Suta (narrator) introducing Vishnu’s statement; direct speaker in the verse: Vishnu addressing Mahesha (Shiva).
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It asserts a mark of true divinity: the one worthy of reverence naturally becomes the object of universal worship, emphasizing humility and the supremacy of the truly venerable.
Bhakti is shown as shared, public reverence—devotion expressed through namaskāra (bowing) and arcana (worship). The verse links inner recognition of greatness with outward acts of worship.
Ritual practice is implied through arcana/samarcana—formal worship with offerings—aligning with correct procedure (kalpa/ācāra) and proper praise (stuti) used in liturgical recitation.
