Narada (teaching within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta (peace)
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It links fearlessness to dharmic karma: when one lives in alignment with one’s own rightly-performed actions, fear diminishes, and the person becomes steady even in public or challenging settings.
By praising “puṇya-kathā” heard in every kalpa, it supports the bhakti method of śravaṇa (devotional hearing): sacred narration purifies the mind and strengthens dharmic resolve, which naturally reduces fear.
It underscores the applied principle behind dharma-śāstra and itihāsa-purāṇa transmission—regular hearing/recitation (śravaṇa) of authoritative narratives as a disciplined practice that shapes conduct and karmic outcomes.
