विमुंचेद्दक्षिणे पात्रमध्ये चाग्रे कृताग्रिकाम् । पात्रदक्षिणदिग्देशे मुक्त्वां गुलचतुष्टयम् ॥ ८० ॥
vimuṃceddakṣiṇe pātramadhye cāgre kṛtāgrikām | pātradakṣiṇadigdeśe muktvāṃ gulacatuṣṭayam || 80 ||
दक्षिण बाजूस—पात्राच्या आत आणि त्याच्या अग्रभागी—कृताग्रिका (गुच्छयुक्त अर्पण) ठेवावी. नंतर पात्राच्या दक्षिण दिशेस चार गुल (गोळे) ठेवून विधी पुढे करावा.
