It emphasizes mantra-sādhana as a disciplined practice: purity of association and regulated speech are presented as supports for effective japa, culminating in a prescribed count (one thousand) of a powerful nine-syllabled mantra.
By centering devotion on steady repetition of a “mantra-rāja,” it frames bhakti as sustained remembrance through japa, protected by behavioral restraints meant to keep the mind single-pointed.
It reflects ritual procedure and mantra-practice discipline (prayoga/vidhi): specifying eligibility-like restraints and a fixed japa-saṅkhyā (count), a technical feature of regulated recitation traditions.
