सहायांते कुमारेति ब्रह्मचारिन्पदंवदेत् । गंभीरशब्दोदयांते दक्षिणापथ संवदेत् । मार्त्ताण्डमेरु शब्दांते वदेत्पर्वतपीटिका ॥ ८५ ॥

Transliteration

sahāyāṃte kumāreti brahmacārinpadaṃvadet | gaṃbhīraśabdodayāṃte dakṣiṇāpatha saṃvadet | mārttāṇḍameru śabdāṃte vadetparvatapīṭikā || 85 ||

Translation

ज्या शब्दाचा अंत “सहाया” ने होतो तेथे “कुमार” म्हणावे; आणि “ब्रह्मचारिन्” ने संपल्यास “पद” उच्चारावे। “गंभीर” शब्दोदयाच्या शेवटी “दक्षिणापथ” म्हणावे; तसेच “मार्त्ताण्ड” व “मेरु” शब्दांच्या शेवटी “पर्वत-पीठिका” म्हणावे।
