sādhito'yaṃ nṛṇāṃ dadyānmaṃtraḥ śreyaḥ suniścitam | vakṣye'tha hanumadyaṃtraṃ sarvasiddhipradāyakam || 62 ||
Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual-knowledge context, consistent with Book 1.3)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes that a mantra should be transmitted only after it is properly “sādhita” (perfected), and it frames Hanumān’s yantra as a sanctioned aid for attaining desired results while aiming at śreyas (true spiritual good).
By presenting Hanumān-focused practice (mantra and yantra) as a disciplined devotional method, it links devotion with responsible practice—first personal accomplishment, then charitable sharing for others’ welfare.
Mantra-prayoga discipline: the rule of mantra-siddhi (completion/perfection through japa, niyama, and procedure) and the technical use of a yantra as a ritual instrument within applied sacred science.
