Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada within the Vedāṅga/vrata-vidhi context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that worship is completed not only by offering naivedya to the deity, but also by honoring worthy recipients—here, seven Brāhmaṇas—and by respectfully handling and distributing items connected to the offering, treating them as consecrated (prasāda).
Bhakti is expressed through reverent completion of worship: the offered food becomes sanctified, and sharing it (and the offering accessories like leaves) is an act of service that extends devotion from the altar into ethical action and generosity.
It reflects practical ritual discipline (kalpa-style procedure): fixed numbers (seven Brāhmaṇas), correct post-offering distribution (vibhajya), and careful treatment of consecrated materials used in the rite.
