Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual listing context to the Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
The verse functions as a ritual-style enumeration of fierce epithets/forms meant for focused remembrance and protective invocation; it trains the mind to hold a single sacred object through name-recitation (nāma-smaraṇa) with disciplined precision.
By presenting multiple sacred names, it supports bhakti through nāma-japa: devotion is practiced as repeated remembrance, where each name becomes a doorway to unwavering attention, reverence, and surrender.
It implicitly emphasizes Śikṣā (phonetics) and Vyākaraṇa (correct word-forms) because such lists are meant to be recited accurately; the efficacy of ritual recitation depends on precise pronunciation and faithful transmission.
