Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes that mantra-power depends on precise placement and articulation—especially of Oṃ—so the recitation aligns correctly with the intended sacred meaning and ritual efficacy.
Even when devotion is the motive, the Purana teaches disciplined recitation: reverent bhakti is strengthened by correct mantra-usage, showing devotion expressed through careful sacred sound.
Śikṣā (Vedic phonetics/intonation) and mantra-prayoga: it gives a technical rule about where Oṃ should be inserted or pronounced relative to specific words in a mantra sequence.
