Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that successful worship begins with inner purification (prāṇāyāma) and precise ritual sanctification (nyāsa), after which the deity is approached through a consecrated form (the solar maṇḍala) and a properly worshiped seat (pīṭha).
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined reverence: the devotee prepares body and mind, then offers structured worship to Bhānu through arcana performed “as previously taught,” showing devotion guided by śāstra-based method rather than impulse.
It highlights ritual technique—prāṇāyāma as preparatory discipline, nyāsa as mantra-application, and maṇḍala construction as a procedural aid—reflecting the Narada Purana’s technical, Vedāṅga-aligned approach to worship practice.
