viśuddhamānasā ye tu dharmamātramanuttamam | kurvaṃti tatphalaṃ vidyādakṣayaṃ sukhadāyakam || 8 ||
Narada (teaching in a didactic passage; traditional dialogue context with Sanatkumara lineage)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that Dharma done with a purified mind yields akṣaya-phala—an inexhaustible spiritual merit that matures as lasting happiness rather than temporary gain.
While not naming a deity, it supports Bhakti’s foundation: inner purity and sincere righteous conduct. Such sattvic Dharma stabilizes the heart, making devotion steady and its fruits enduring.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught directly; the practical takeaway is ethical discipline and purity of intention, which are prerequisites for effective mantra, ritual, and study.
