Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa
तत्तु लौहेन पात्रेण ह्यायसेनाथवा पिबेत् । ताम्रेण वाथं पात्रेण तत्पीत्वा मरणं व्रजेत् ॥ २६ ॥
tattu lauhena pātreṇa hyāyasenāthavā pibet | tāmreṇa vāthaṃ pātreṇa tatpītvā maraṇaṃ vrajet || 26 ||
ते लोखंडाच्या पात्रातून किंवा आयस (इस्पात) पात्रातूनच प्यावे. पण तांब्याच्या पात्रातून जो पितो, तो ते पिऊन मृत्यूस प्राप्त होतो.
