वृद्धातुरस्त्रीबालानामर्द्धमुक्तं मनीषिभिः । गौडी पैष्टी च माध्वी च विज्ञेया त्रिविधा सुरा ॥ २३ ॥
vṛddhāturastrībālānāmarddhamuktaṃ manīṣibhiḥ | gauḍī paiṣṭī ca mādhvī ca vijñeyā trividhā surā || 23 ||
वृद्ध, आजारी, स्त्री आणि बालक यांच्यासाठी (दंड इत्यादी) अर्धेच असे मनीषींनी सांगितले आहे. तसेच सुरा तीन प्रकारची जाणावी—गौडी, पैष्टी आणि माध्वी.
