आसाद्य पात्रद्वितयं दर्भशाखासमन्वितम् । तत्पात्रे सेचयेत्तोयं शन्नोदेवीत्यृचा ततः ॥ ३९ ॥
āsādya pātradvitayaṃ darbhaśākhāsamanvitam | tatpātre secayettoyaṃ śannodevītyṛcā tataḥ || 39 ||
दर्भशाखांनी युक्त अशी दोन पात्रे जवळ आणून, त्या पात्रात जल ओतावे. नंतर “शं नो देवी…” या ऋचेचा जप/पाठ करावा.
