Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It marks certain places and presences—temples, sacred/public spaces, and revered beings—as zones requiring heightened self-control, reinforcing dharma through reverence and non-offense (aparādha-bhaya).
Bhakti is protected by proper conduct: honoring the temple, respecting devotees (brāhmaṇas), and showing humility before the guru and living symbols of dharma like the cow—all of which sustain devotional purity.
It aligns with Kalpa (ritual discipline) and Smārta-sadācāra: practical rules of behavior in specified locations to avoid ritual faults and social/religious transgressions.
