Narada (instructional narration within the ritual context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It emphasizes śauca (purity) through mantra and water—aligning the practitioner with ṛta (cosmic order) before proceeding with any sacred act.
By prescribing careful preparatory purification, it supports bhakti as disciplined worship—devotion expressed through correct, reverent ritual conduct prior to prayer or pūjā.
It reflects procedural ritual science (kalpa-style practice): ācamanam (sipping) and prokṣaṇa (sprinkling) performed with a specific mantra utterance.
