Sanatkumara (addressing Narada)
Vrata: Dvādaśī-vrata
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It declares the phala (spiritual fruit) of sustained vrata-discipline: observing the Dvādaśī vow continuously for one year culminates in attaining paramaṁ padam, the supreme divine state/abode.
By linking steady observance of a Vishnu-centered lunar-day vow (Dvādaśī) with the highest goal, it frames bhakti as consistent, time-bound devotion expressed through regulated worship and self-restraint.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Jyotiṣa-based tithi observance are implied: the vow depends on correct lunar-day timing (Dvādaśī) and disciplined annual continuity.
