Adhyaya 89 — The Pious King
ऋषिरुवाच
चकāर कोपमतुलं रक्तबीजे निपातिते ।
शुम्भासुरो निशुम्भश्च हतेष्वन्येषु चाऽहवे ॥
ṛṣir uvāca cakāra kopam atulaṃ raktabīje nipātite | śumbhāsuro niśumbhaś ca hateṣv anyeṣu cāhave ||
ऋषी म्हणाले—रक्तबीजाचा वध झाल्यावर, रणात इतर योद्धेही मारले जात असल्याने, असुर शुंभ व निशुंभ अतुल क्रोधाने भरून गेले।
