Adhyaya 85 — The Gods’ Hymn to the Goddess and the Emergence of Kaushiki; Shumbha Sends His Envoy
नैरृत्यै भूभृतां लक्ष्म्यै शर्वाण्यै ते नमो नमः ।
दुर्गायै दुर्गपारायै सारायै सर्वकारिण्यै ।
ख्यात्यै तथैव कृष्णायै धूम्रायै सततं नमः ॥
nairṛtyai bhūbhṛtāṃ lakṣmyai śarvāṇyai te namo namaḥ / durgāyai durgapārāyai sārāyai sarvakāriṇyai / khyātyai tathaiva kṛṣṇāyai dhūmrāyai satataṃ namaḥ
नैरृती, पर्वतलक्ष्मी व शर्वाणी—तुला पुनःपुन्हा नमस्कार. दुर्गा, दुर्गतीतून तारिणारी, सारस्वरूपा, सर्वकर्त्री—तुला नित्य नमस्कार. ख्याती तसेच कृष्णा व धूम्रा—तुलाही पुनःपुन्हा नमस्कार.
