विच्छिन्नजङ्घास्त्वपरे पेतुरुर्व्यां महासुराः ।
एकबाह्वक्षिचरणाः केचिद्देव्याः द्विधा कृताः ॥
vicchinnajaṅghās tv apare petur urvyāṃ mahāsurāḥ | ekabāhv-akṣicaraṇāḥ kecid devyā dvidhā kṛtāḥ ||
इतरांची जंघा छिन्न झाल्याने ते पृथ्वीवर कोसळले—ते महान असुर; आणि काही, एक बाहू, एक डोळा व एक पाय उरला तरीही, देवीने त्यांना दोन तुकडे केले।
