केचिच्च चिक्षिपुः शक्तीः केचित् पाशांस्तथापरे ।
देवीं खड्गप्रहारैस्तु ते तां हन्तुं प्रचक्रमुः ॥
kecicca cikṣipuḥ śaktīḥ kecit pāśāṃstathāpare / devīṃ khaḍgaprahāraistu te tāṃ hantuṃ pracakramuḥ
काहींनी भाले फेकले, काहींनी पाश टाकले; आणि तलवारीच्या घावांनी देवीचा वध करण्याचा प्रयत्न करू लागले।
