शङ्खञ्च वरुणः शक्तिं ददौ तस्यै हुताशनः ।

मारुतो दत्तवांश्चापं बाणपूर्णे तथेषुधी ॥

Transliteration

śaṅkhaṃ ca varuṇaḥ śaktiṃ dadau tasyai hutāśanaḥ |

māruto dattavāṃś cāpaṃ bāṇa-pūrṇe tatheṣudhī ||

Translation

वरुणाने तिला शंख दिला; हुताशन (अग्नी) यांनी शक्ती (भाला) दिली. मारुत (वायू) यांनी धनुष्य दिले आणि बाणांनी भरलेले दोन भातेही अर्पण केले.
