भगवानुवाच भवनेतामद्य मे तुष्टौ मम वध्यावुभावपि ।

किमन्येन वरेणात्र एतावद्धि वृतं मम ॥

Transliteration

bhagavān uvāca bhavan etām adya me tuṣṭau mama vadhyāv ubhāv api | kim anyena vareṇātra etāvad dhi vṛtaṃ mama ||

Translation

श्री भगवान म्हणाले: 'जर तुम्ही दोघे माझ्यावर प्रसन्न झाला असाल, तर माझ्या हातून तुमचा वध व्हावा. येथे मला दुसऱ्या वराची काय गरज? मी हेच मागून घेतो.'
