विपाठां नन्दिनीं चैव वेद्मि भार्यां गृहे द्विज ।
तिष्ठन्ति मे न भगवन् रेवतीं वेद्मि कान्वियम् ॥
vipāṭhāṃ nandinīṃ caiva vedmi bhāryāṃ gṛhe dvija /
tiṣṭhanti me na bhagavan revatīṃ vedmi kānv iyam //
हे ब्राह्मण, माझ्या घरात विपाठा आणि नंदिनी ह्याही पत्नी आहेत—हे मला माहीत आहे. पण, हे पूज्य, रेवती माझ्याबरोबर राहत नाही; मग ती रेवती कोण, जिला मी ओळखावे?
