Adhyaya 75 — The Fall and Restoration of Revatī Nakṣatra and the Birth of Raivata Manu
karoti suhṛdāṃ dainyam ahitānāṃ tathā mudam /
akāle ca jarāṃ pitroḥ kuputraḥ kurute dhruvam

Adharma is socially contagious: it harms allies, empowers opponents, and consumes parental vitality—illustrating that private vice has public and intergenerational costs.
Didactic dharma section; not within the five purāṇic lakṣaṇas.
‘Akāla-jarā’ functions as a symbol of prāṇa-kṣaya (drain of life-force) caused by grief, shame, and continual anxiety produced by adharmic attachment.
