जग्राह समुपेत्यैनां त्वरया सोऽपि राक्षसः ।
त्राहि त्राहीति करुणं विलपन्तीं सुमध्यमाम् ॥
jagrāha samupetyaināṃ tvarayā so 'pi rākṣasaḥ | trāhi trāhīti karuṇaṃ vilapantīṃ sumadhyamām
तो राक्षसही वेगाने जवळ येऊन ‘वाचवा, वाचवा!’ असे करुण रडणाऱ्या त्या कृशमध्य स्त्रीला पकडून घेतला।
