kṛtatretādikaś cātra caturyugakṛto vidhiḥ | etat tu bhārataṃ varṣaṃ catuḥ saṃsthānasaṃsthitam ||

येथे कृत, त्रेता इत्यादी युगांचा विधी चार युगांचा नियम म्हणून स्थापित आहे. आणि हे भारतवर्ष चार प्रकारच्या ‘संस्थानां’मध्ये मांडलेले आहे.
