तत्वारि तु सहस्राणि वर्षाणां मानुषाणि तु ।
आयुः प्रमाणं जीवन्ति न च क्लेशाद्विपत्तयः ॥
tatvāri tu sahasrāṇi varṣāṇāṃ mānuṣāṇi tu /
āyuḥ pramāṇaṃ jīvanti na ca kleśādvipattayaḥ
त्यांच्या आयुष्याचे प्रमाण चार हजार मानवी वर्षे होते. ते तेवढाच पूर्ण काळ जगत आणि व्याधी इत्यादी क्लेशांपासून कोणतेही दुर्दैव उद्भवत नसे.
