तं बुबोधयिषुः सोऽथ चिरं ध्यात्वा महीपतिः ।
तद्वैरिसंश्रयं तस्य श्रेयोऽमन्यत भूपतेः ॥
taṃ bubodhayīṣuḥ so 'tha ciraṃ dhyātvā mahīpatiḥ |
tad-vairi-saṃśrayaṃ tasya śreyo 'manyata bhūpateḥ ||
त्याला जागृत करावयाची इच्छा धरून त्याने दीर्घकाळ विचार केला आणि त्या राजाला शत्रूच्या आश्रयास जावे लागेल असे करणेच योग्य मानले, म्हणजे त्याला वैर्याच्या दबावाला सामोरे जावे लागेल।
