Adhyaya 3 — The Dharmapakshis’ Past-Life Curse and Indra’s Test of Truthfulness

इत्युक्त्वा तं स विप्रेन्द्रस्तथेति कृतनिश्चयः ।

शीघ्रमस्मान् समाहूय गुणतोऽनुप्रशस्य च ॥

Transliteration

ity uktvā taṃ sa viprendras tatheti kṛta-niścayaḥ | śīghram asmān samāhūya guṇato 'nupraśasya ca ||

Translation

त्याला असे बोलून, मनाने निश्चय केलेल्या त्या श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणाने उत्तर दिले—“एवमस्तु (असेच होवो).” मग त्वरेने आम्हाला बोलावून, त्याच्या गुणांप्रमाणे स्तुती करून, तो पुढे निघून गेला.
