तत्रैव वा गुरोर्गेहे द्विजो निष्ठामवाप्नुयात् ।
गुरोरभावे तत्पुत्रे तच्छिष्ये तత్సुतं विना ॥
tatraiva vā guror gehe dvijo niṣṭhām avāpnuyāt /
guror abhāve tatputre tacchiṣye tatsutaṃ vinā //
तेथेच—त्या आश्रमात किंवा गुरुगृही—द्विजाने आपल्या शिस्तीची दृढ परिपूर्ती साधावी। गुरु अनुपस्थित असल्यास गुरुपुत्राच्या अधीन, तो नसेल तर गुरूच्या शिष्याच्या अधीन—त्यांना न ओलांडता—ही परिपूर्ती प्राप्त करावी।
