एकं द्वौ सकलान् वापि वेदान् प्राप्य गुरोर्मुखात् ।

अनुज्ञातोऽथ वन्दित्वा दक्षिणां गुरवे ततः ॥

ekaṃ dvau sakalān vāpi vedān prāpya guror mukhāt | anujñāto 'tha vanditvā dakṣiṇāṃ gurave tataḥ ||

गुरूंच्या मुखातून एक, दोन किंवा सर्व वेद विधिपूर्वक शिकून, नंतर परवानगी मिळाल्यावर नमस्कार करून, त्यानंतर गुरूंना दक्षिणा द्यावी।
