Adhyaya 26 — Madālasa Names Alarka and Reorients Him Toward Kshatriya Duty
चतुर्थस्य सुतस्याथ चिकीर्षुर्नाम भूमिपः ।
ददर्श तां शुभाचारामीषद्धासां मदालसाम् ।
तामाह राजा हसतीं किञ्चित् कौतूहलान्वितः ॥
caturthasya sutasyātha cikīrṣur nāma bhūmipaḥ / dadarśa tāṃ śubhācārām īṣaddhāsāṃ madālasām / tām āha rājā hasatīṃ kiñcit kautūhalānvitaḥ
मग राजा चौथ्या पुत्राचे नाव ठेवण्याची इच्छा धरून, सदाचारिणी मदालसा किंचित् स्मित करीत आहे असे पाहू लागला. कुतूहलाने भरून, ती हसत असताना राजाने तिला विचारले.
