रमणीयं ततोऽपश्यत् पातालं स नृपात्मजः ॥

śāntamaśvataraṃ nāma mānanīyaṃ divaukasām | ramaṇīyaṃ tato 'paśyat pātālaṃ sa nṛpātmajaḥ ||

त्याने ‘शान्तमश्वतर’ नावाच्या, जो स्वर्गवासीयांमध्येही पूज्य होता, अशा व्यक्तीविषयी ऐकले. मग त्या राजकुमाराने पाताळ पाहिले—दर्शनास रम्य.
