जज्ञे निश्वसतः सद्यस्तद्रूपा मध्यमात् फणात् ।
न चापि कथयामास कंस्यचित् स भुजङ्गमः ॥
jajñe niśvasataḥ sadyas tadrūpā madhyamāt phaṇāt |
na cāpi kathayāmāsa kaṃsyacit sa bhujaṅgamaḥ ||
तो श्वास सोडताच त्याच रूपाचा एक जण सर्पाच्या मध्यफणातून तत्क्षणी उत्पन्न झाला. आणि त्या नागाने ही गोष्ट कोणालाही मुळीच सांगितली नाही.
