Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 13 — Kīcaka’s Proposition and Draupadī’s Dharmic Refusal
द्रौपदी प्रेक्ष्य तान् सर्वान् क्लिश्यमानान् महारथान् । नातिप्रीतमना राजन् नि:श्वासपरमा भवत्
drau-padī prekṣya tān sarvān kliśyamānān mahārathān | nātiprītamanā rājan niḥśvāsaparamā bhavat ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले— राजन्, आपल्या त्या सर्व महारथी पतींना असे क्लेश भोगताना पाहून द्रौपदीचे मन प्रसन्न नव्हते; ती खिन्न होऊन वारंवार दीर्घ निःश्वास टाकीत असे।
